Giving help is not strange in our Family counting all Grand parent cousins and nieces. I've passed out old coats and new warm socks. beside 12 step work for Bill W Which is for my help as well as others. Well I was very supprised when my niece and her companion divulged to us others. The work of passing out food stuffs and snacks . To the unfortunates at the city homeless . At the shelters vicinity.Very kind and noble works for the Lord indeed. How ever I and some other relatives questioned the wisdom of any Females being in the presence of any potentially dangerous or sick peoples. I was told that lighting was adequate . This did little to calm my elder relative fear. Impressive was the organization of the two and others four or five. The permission from the local shelter and its volunteer staff. I thought of similar actions but being a loner was afraid to take on a task such as this by myself Even as a male. I half heatedly wished them well. There have been news reports of other Charity minded groups getting the big stop from the Government officials . Surely a hats off goes to this well meaning group of under 30's. I will dare to locate in Northern California. Especially timely at the Christmas season. Much care and love goes into the making of some what simple fare. I fear that I may now also have less sound nights sleep . Knowing what these younger Americans are shall I say foolishly about. God please allay my fears. Maybe some cop on patrol will keep and eye out for them. I hope that all citizens wanting to join the Charity brigades will try to stay safe when helping the Homeless. that's all from Rob g 12- 2012
